「跨代共融」藝術緬懷之旅

2017年4月23日 - 2017年6月16日假「1a空間」舉行

2041年香港將面對人口老化之重大挑戰。據香港人口統計處資料顯示,屆時每3個港人,將有一個為長者。「老」人是今日年輕群的包袱、還是新一代的「明燈」,將取決於「長」「幼」二者互相對對方的界定與印象。

「跨代共融」藝術緬懷之旅是一項實驗式的生命實況教育計劃,是以長幼共融形式帶動長者重回校園(有些是首次進入校園)。參與計劃之長者既懷緬自身的經歷、面授青少年;而青少年亦從長者的口述歷史中,得以分析及重組過去香港的歷史面貌。

是項教育計劃將長者生命(life-span)實況,植入學校新高中視藝及通識課程,由五間先導學校共十三位老師帶領(其中五位曾獲行政長官藝術教育獎)、加上藝術家駐校,並由新界鄉議局元朗區中學副校長親率通識科老師策劃實踐評估其參與學生的生命反思。中學生在過去半年與長者進行一系列的交流活動,透過多元文化藝術觀點,發展創意及多角度思維,深入了解不同年紀人士的價值觀。

計劃欲在多元社會中確立並提倡欣賞、尊重上一代的文化觀點,培養年輕人孝順的美德,學懂處理相互衝突的價值觀。本計劃以藝術作為引旨,帶動包括通識、德育與公民教育的訓練,希望能作為日後跨科統整 (interdisciplinary) 的典範項目, 為未來教育發展找尋更多可能性。

2017年4月23日至6月16日,來自5間先導中學與超過50位長者及駐校藝術家共同實驗的藝術作品、教學過程及長幼學習結果,將於牛棚藝術村1a空間盛大展出,並於4月22日下午3時正舉行展覽開幕禮,誠意邀請傳媒及各界人士出席。

教學研究、長者生活滿意度研究、學生自尊感研究、生活承傳研究及生命價值承傳之藝術通識實驗之結果將於書刊發表,並將派發到相關界別機構分享研究成果。

Reminiscence Share Site through Art
23 April – 16 June, 1a space

Hong Kong is facing economic, social and cultural challenges as ageing population looms. It is projected that Hong Kong’s aging population will significantly increase to 30% by 2041 according to the Census and Statistics Department.

Reminiscence Share Site through Art, an experimental life education program was curated in response to the above tended situation. The project aims to promote productive ageing. It also encourages inter-generational harmony while participating students develop life-long learning capabilities through creative process and interactions with the senior generation.

The project is an art interdisciplinary cross subjects: including Visual Arts and liberal studies programs based on the life-span experiences of lives. The project was led by 13 teachers ( 5 of them are recipient of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence) with the aid of artist in residence. The assessment of life learning and self-evaluation were led by the 5 pilot schools’ teachers. Participating students are encouraged to acquire better understanding and analyses of authentic life experience of the elderlies from 5 perspectives including psychological, cultural, critical, emotional and creative ways.

The programme's design provides opportunities for students to understand filial piety and life value by direct interactions and cooperative opportunities with the senior generation, and to apply knowledges of liberal studies, Moral and Civic education on a more in-depth scale. Taking cultivation of positive values and attitudes as the direction, the project aims to provide model sample for interdisciplinary education and to explore possibilities in future education development. Learnings and experimental results including artworks, education process by 5 pilot secondary schools with over 50 elderlies will be on show from 23 April to 16 June 2017 at 1a space. An opening ceremony will be held on 22 April at 3 pm. We sincerely invite you to join this grand event.

A publication will be produced and distributed to education institutes and related organizations with the results of researches on education, life satisfaction of elderly, self-esteem of students and life inheritance through art.
